There are two great things to love about the CIVIVI Vision FG. One is the blade profile, and the other is the lock mechanism.
First, let’s cover the blade profile. It’s a sheepsfoot (CIVIVI calls it a reverse tanto, but it doesn’t matter, the effect is the same) which has an extremely strong, durable point, and which can handle pretty hard use. It’s available in a few different configurations and nitro-v, which has already been mentioned, is one of them.
The other thing you won’t be able to help but love is the so-called “super” lock, which consists of a backspacer that wedges against the back of the knife, holding it open.
This lock type is remarkably strong, very reliable, and quite safe, as it can be opened and closed without putting your fingers in the way of the blade’s path when closing.
